Risk Management and Responsible Decision-Making

Responsible Mining Risk Management

Integrated risk management
Responsible mining requires structured and disciplined risk management. At Eurobattery Minerals, risk identification, assessment and mitigation are integrated into governance, strategic planning and operational decision-making.

Risks related to health and safety, environment, communities, compliance and operations are systematically identified and evaluated before activities begin.

Structured processes and internal control
Clear governance structures define roles, responsibilities and accountability across the organisation. Risk assessments are conducted prior to operational activities, and preventive measures are defined and documented.

Health, safety and environmental reporting systems enable the tracking of incidents, near-misses and deviations. Data is reviewed to identify trends and strengthen preventive measures over time.

Risk Assessment Template (HSE Management Plan): This is the structured risk assessment document we use before major activities to identify hazards, define control measures and reduce risks to an acceptable level. It ensures systematic documentation, accountability and preventive action across our projects.

Transparency and accountability
Effective risk management depends on documentation, follow-up and transparency. Decisions are taken on an informed basis, supported by data, internal controls and clear reporting lines.

Management oversight ensures that identified risks are addressed and that corrective actions are implemented when necessary.

Continuous improvement as a system
Continuous improvement is embedded in our governance framework. Monitoring, reporting and regular evaluation allow us to adapt practices, strengthen controls and enhance performance.
By combining clear values with structured governance, we aim to ensure that responsible mining is not only an ambition — but a measurable and verifiable practice.

Safety Maturity Model (MIRM): This model illustrates how we view safety development — progressing from reactive risk management to a proactive and resilient safety culture where safety becomes an integrated way of working.
